I have a NA resivior and the lines I hate where they are. I just got a bigger turbo and the lines are in the way of where I want to run the piping.
Anyone use different hoses or braided lines from the rack to the cooler and to the resivior?
Anyone put the resivior anywhere else?

please chime in and if you have pics.... you know what to do!!!!
thanks

You can put it any where you want. Just run longer lines. And keep the res higher than the pump.

I got a small cooler from the autoparts store, some tranny-fluid lines from a local hose/pipe supply place, and a reservoir from a Lincoln Towncar...

Reservoir is to the right of the fusebox in this pic...

If i replace the lines to the cooler i wouldnt need any special high pressure right? just normal oil resistant hose and clamps correct? I just dont want to mess this up. lol

off topic but cant find it. Whats the silver metal box connected to the stock boost sensor on the drivers side engine bay?

The hose place had some that were tranny fluid specific... Any Goodyear hose/rubber supply-type of place will get ya hooked up right (cheap). Basically...

1. Big hose from reservoir to pump
2. Small hose to cooler (from reservoir). Get creative here...
3. Small hose from cooler to PS rack

FWIW, I have an auto radiator with the tranny fluid ports. I have thought of using that, instead of the small cooler, but opinions are mixed on what the temp should be and it may "overcool."

Good luck!

I'm sorry I don't have pics to illustrate at the moment, but I have an N/A reservoir and lines, with a big GT35r turbo and hard pipes. Nothing is in the way of each other either.

I'll try to get a pic posted tomorrow when I get home. Car is in the garage.
