I bought my supra in 2008 and from the time I've had it, it had the power steering deleted. I don't know how long the original owner drove it without the power steering connected, but i haven't driven that much from then to now (it's been a weekend car mostly).
I'm contemplating putting the power steering back in. Everything was taking out expect for the original steering rack. I have the pump, just need to get the reservoir (possibly aftermarket), aftermarket cooler, lines and fittings.
My question for you guys is seeing how the supra was driven for some time without power steering, do you think the rack would be in good shape to for it? Do you guys feel it's even worth it? If so, could I get away with aftermarket pressure lines and fittings?
