Anyone know the thread size of the low pressure power steering fitting, it threads into the rack and there is a short 90* pipe on it. Its smaller than a 18x 1.5 but larger than the standard PS fitting thread. Also if anyone has a spare one I need one, let me know.

Did you ever find out? I've been looking and it appears to be 17x1.5 for the low pressure side.
Does anyone have the operating psi of the low pressure side? I was planning on replacing the regular line with push-lok hose and fittings when I added my power steering cooler.

i've used push-lock on the high pressure side with out any problem's.the high pressure side is 16 x 1.5,but the low side is slightly bigger.the thread pitch does seem the same though

That follows with what I’ve been reading; high pressure side is 16x1.5 and low pressure side is 17x1.5

I was under the impression that the high pressure side operated in excessive of 1000+psi? The Aeroquip pushlok lines I was going to use aren’t supposed to be used over 250psi. Either way, I already have the DM high pressure line and I wanted to replace the low pressure side as well.

I don't want to hijack but I think this would fit in here, especially since it was mentioned. I didn't think it would make sense to make a thread to ask about the high pressure side right under this one.

16x1.5 is the size for the fitting that goes into the rack? How about the pump?

I ask because I bought the DM power steering SS line from someone with some other swap parts (for 1jz) and it doesn't have the fittings on the ends.

Here is a pic for reference:

It doesn't have the fittings that threads into this hose, and then the other side threads into the pump/rack to eliminate the banjo.

As mentioned, the size for the fitting on the pump I need to know is for a jz pump. Not sure if it's the same size as the rack (16x1.5?)

My understanding is that it is the same size fitting for the rack and pump, I am working on making all the power steering lines for my car so I can give you an update this weekend when I actually get time to do something with the physical parts.
Also, from what I have read, Toyota uses the same size for all their cars so it shouldn't matter if it's a JZ pump or not. Although, DM does sell a 7M PS line and a JZ PS line, so there's a possibility it could be different (might just be a line length difference though).

I messaged them already, showed them the pic too. The guy I bought it from said it was form a jz swapped supra, so maybe e forgot to take the fittings off. He said he would get back to me with the fittings sizes/prices but hasn't been able to yet.

Thanks, let us know about the updates.

it must be just the length, pump's are on opposite side's for each motor.
