Anyone try converting the built-in a/t cooler for power steering cooling on a koyo radiator? I have a 5sp with new a/t radiator and planning on upgrading intercooler; the stock p/s cooler line is in the way of a larger intercooler setup, Im thinkin this would also be an efficiency upgrade for my p/s- any thoughts? any input would be appreciated.

I'm using the stock oil cooler for my PS oil coooler.
I don't see why using the radiator cooler would be a problem. It should work fine. Might even work better, as your PS fluid temps would be more consistant than mine in theory.

92 ps cooler ftw have yet to boil it
the ony thign i don't like about the power streeing in rad is it will run pretty hot all the time then if ti was cooled buy a front monte cooler

i'm also using a stock oil cooler for my ps cooler, mounted in the front and rubber a/t lines run to it. so far so good...
Just buy an aftermarket radiator ($40 new at most parts stores) and some oil lines and put the radiator wherever you want. I have a radiator on my PS system in my 87 (in it's former life the radiator was the oil cooler from a 4AG). Works pretty damn good for me.
