Power steering cooler question

I am looking to install a power steering cooler on my 87 NA and I was thinking of trying to fit a braided line to where the crimp connections are... Anyone know of which fitting would be needed?

The crimp connections are for the high pressure side...you don't want to mess with those. If you fit a cooler to that, it would probably explode.

So would you recommend putting the cooler in line between the rack and the pump on the return side?

Between the rack and the res. Not the line that goes between the res and the pump, but the other fitting.

I am currently swapping in a 1uzfe and power steering resevoir is direnlctly attache to the pump

The factory spot (yes, all of them came with coolers).

Res. => Pump => Rack => Cooler => Res.

Yup! I just used some atf safe softline but it would have been better to make most of it out of hardline I would imagine.
