Power steering air control valve

It might have been asked before and I have tried searching for the answer but I couldn't any so I'll risk asking it (again).

I just replaced my PS pump (what a pain in the ....)

Now I need to know where the two vaccum ports go.

I have the two vacuum lines but I fail to see which goes where.

On the pump there are no markings on the two vacuum ports.

How do I tell which one goes to the accordion hose? Or doesn'r it matter?

there should be a metal vacume tube that goes around the block, where one of the source is, then the 2nd one goes onto the according hose, on the underside so you won't be able to see unless you take it off

I know that but what I don't understand is if the two vaccum ports are interchangeable. Which one goes to the accordion hose and which one goes to the metal tube? Or doesn't it matter?
