Can anyone tell me about what it costs to shine up a motor?..As in Powdercoating everything....chroming the valve covers.....anodizing pulleys that kind of stuff...leme knowzzzzzzzzI'm trying to finger all this out:naughty:

I use Don Jose plating, off of Palo Verde, they are cheap. Just for some ideas, they charged me $60 to chrome some ic hardpipes and a bunch of brackets and hardware, 40 to polish alternator, 40 for water outlet housing, 35 for turbo housing, 60 for the manifold, etc.
As far as powdercoating, I havent really done much of that.

Find a shop that does anodizing and powdercoating and have them do it all at once. They will more than likely be nice and do a 1 lot charge if you take everything in at once.
