Awwhh...thanks for the kind words guys, that was a "before" pic.
I finished my motor build in late Aug, put it in, and got to drive it for a whole 3 weeks, then this guy turned into me. It went into the body shop in mid Oct and they took it completely apart, block sanded, modded the front bumper, modded the head light covers (they really work as ducts too), and painted it pearl white...took them over a month. I had the wind shield replaced and the back hatch glass too (waited for 2 weeks for hatch glass to ship from Japan)...all the window trim was replaced and went with the clear front signal/markers. Got it back in early Nov and now she looks like the 1st pics I posted. I installed low profile fog lamps so the stock hole can function as vents...the tranny cooler is behind the divers side one. Body wise, I'm trying to figure out what front lip to get and I'm modding a set of front trim with clear markers to match the back.
Sooo, The new motor has been broken in now for about 2 weeks after all this (couple of oil changes). Mechanical wise, I've still got to install a 3.90 diff w/ a TRD LSD in it, aluminum drive shaft, Walbro 255 fuel pump...hope to get the pump in this week. I need to re-shim the valves too...I used 1mm oversize valves w/ upgraded springs and they need a re-adjust. Gonna check the head stud torque while I'm there.
After all that is done...gonna install an AEM ECU and change to a temp density set-up with a fuel curve based on boost. The SP61GT turbo (it's the one with the wastegate built into the downpipe) boosts very fast to 18-20 psi and then I hit fuel cut...I can't even floor it because it boosts so quick. The AEM is going to control boost in this set-up.
