Why do the RSR exhausts have those springs? Are they slip over pipes that need the spring to keep them together, or something?
casper35404 said:Disassembly isn't that bad. It is a slip over design that uses springs to keep it together. The springs are strong, but not impossible to take off. BTW, the RSR is the loudest aftermarket exhaust for the MKIII. However it does give the most power gains of any system. I used to like the tone when all I had was the stock turbo. Now that I have a bigger turbo and more power, it screams (a good scream) at high RPMs. I love it now.
