i tried to start it today and the starter tried to turn it and it struggled for a second...then a lil pop from the exhaust but nothing...its not starting

anyone know?

another important question is, how important that lil ground wire on the coil pack is? mine broke off and was gonna replace it

the screw is rounded out..is there more places i can put it?

aight so i got it to start and then it just dies..i thought maybe the timing was 180degrees off but nope i checked it the #1 is at its peak when the cams are.

im thinking i didnt gap my ngk platinums sooo i am gonna take them out and check the gap...im pretty sure it has to be .32 so im hoping that is just the problem.

but i got it to start and die...any ideas?...sometimes i hear when the car dies after its off it has a bit of a suction where the intake is, and the airfilter does a slight blow off. there is smoke so i doubt its not getting spark.

the whole time i had my buddys car connected to keep the battery from dieing.

Well i'll give you one guess how i knew what was wrong...

It took me a month to figure out that i didnt reinstall the CPS correctly, I'm glad you figured it out. Best of luck to you.
