:biglaugh: How do I get into the interior light in the roof to change the bulbs? I can't see any screws, but I don't want to pull at it if it's not clips incase I break it?

I come from a land down under
It's clips and yes it's quite terrifying to remove the first time!

When it's out you'll find it's corrosion between the ring connectors and the aluminium rivets that's the problem not blown globes as suspected.

I put a small bolt in the vice and use a punch to squash the rivets down tighter and no more hassles.

Ah there's no problem, they work great, I just want to replace the bulbs with some new ones I've bought to match my dash lighting :icon_bigg

It is terrifying, the plastic flexes an awful lot! Am I right in thinking that I push forward towards the windshield and pull down at the front?

I have broke mine twice getting to those bulbs. One trick is when you change them, make sure you do it when it is warm out and not cold. Cold plastic breaks easier.

I pulled and pulled and bang. It came out fine :D

Thanks for your help guys, I'll include a cool pic later tonight. I've replaced them with blue LED bulbs, to match the blue LED lighting I've just fitted to my dashboard. The thread on here about the lighting modification is great.

Thanks again, really appreciate it.

indeed, if it helps anyone, I used a total of 39 LED's to replace the 5 bulbs, the 194's I replaced with 9 LED tower bulbs, and the smaller 286 I replaced with a 3 LED tower bulb. :icon_bigg

I would have done the rivets while I was in there ;)

Why are you lying. We know you wouldn't have stopped there, its not possible for you. Next thing he would have known, is that his car would be running off of propane with a t56 and a T04r:: IJ. ::
