I noticed when I have my 17's on my car has a whine, sounds liek it is coming from the tranny, but when I have my stock 16's its fine, any clue?
Possible tranny hum/whine?

Are your tires and rims balanced. I would say it's not your transmission. It wouldn't all of a sudden start going bad on you.

Yeah, they are balanced, I'm gonna see if any weights came off. I also don't have hubcentric rings, what that do anything, I've never used them.
I'd had a weird whine when downshifting but it never affected performance.
Its not too risky to run the car without hub rings unless u torque the wheel in the air (lugcentric) but its much better to stay hubcentric
