Like the title says it might be possible the Supra Community will be able to purchase a quality replacement stock fog light housing. I liked the H4 housings so I thought why not write them let them know of the huge worldwide MKIII community and see if I could get them interested in producing a replacement housing for the MKIII fog lights. My question is for the Gurus who know the parts like the back of their hands. I need a run down on differences in years. My next step would be to obtain some of these as samples, and send them off to India so Autopal can have a look. They've asked for some pictures, I will go to the junkyard today take some decent shots of an 87 I believe it is, then get them some shots of my 89s.

Bracket for 89+ hangs lower, I believe. 89+ is also more square. If they test fit anything, it needs to be clear of stock ic piping. My Lexus drop in replacement was amazing, but they don't clear ic piping unless you cut into the bumper.

What are you trying to achieve? Better light pattern? Projectors?

Just trying to get a replacement stock housing/lens assembly to fit the stock brackets, preferably one that we can fit a 55w H4 bulb in nothing more. Mine has a hole in the lens, its the third time LOL, and they are hard to come by. This weekend three supras showed up and all had broken fog lights, it was a bummer. Of course input on this project is appreciated and encouaged since the entire MKIII Supra community will benifit.
