It was a great get together and I was happy to meet some of the Supra owners from the Oregon/Washington area. Here are few pics I took...and Keith, don't feel bad, I got you hooked up on that photo of your missing white car and my white 90 that I wasn't able to bring. By the way, thank you Swaq for the props on my mica brown car...and bkma71, the tan interior is in my car...thanks.

The white car listing to the left is Keiths 89 and the white one with the bra, against the cyclone fence is the 90 no show I had to leave at home in favor of the brown car. Sorry I didn't get any closeups of peoples interiors, engines, or Weezl's Targa bar set up...new to the meet thing and wasn't on the ball. All the cars that showed up looked great. An apology out to Matt for not getting a full body shot of his Lexus or the JZ engine housed within.

Buy a can of spray on paint stripper, take your wheel off the car, pop the center cap out, spray on the stripper, let sit 10 minutes, wipe off, hose clean, reinstall center cap, remount wheel.....done!

I did my wheels while they were still on the car. It doesn't hurt the tires at all.

As for the center caps...it seems like some Supra's center caps had a metal cover over plastic, those can be left on the wheel...and some Supra's had all plastic ones, that can't be stripped (The stripper will just eat throught the plastic cap)...you'll have to look at yours very carefully around the edges, to determine if they are metal or plastic. My car had one metal one, and the rest were plastic.

Weezl: How did you create that front lip? It looks good :).

$38.55 at home depot and an afternoon of fab work...nothing to it really

vinyl wall base moulding, some metal strips, brackets, screws, 2 sided tape and contact cement....and a TON of ingenuity...hehe

OK... I can see that this may not have been in the right section in General... but BUILD UP? WTF?!?

Anyway...

I chatted with Kevin and he does have a few sunshades left. The quantity and location are unknown as he is in the process of unpacking after his recent move. For those guys that were drooling over mine - rotting on the back of a non-moving MkIII - they are still available. Find KevinM on this board and see if he can find the sunshades for you.

I will look at this carefully. (maby i have 4 metal caps, cause i have 8 rims alltogether):icon_bigg Thx, cause I though that this is a chrome effect or sumtin like that.
Btw sumone said before that there are wheels, that can't be made like the one on the picture, cause not all had the mirror base or smt. Is this not right, cause I also don't want to waste money on repainting them:icon_razz
Thx again!
