Porsche 911 turbo?

Late night. He had temp plates so it was new. He had a girl in the car I so I wanted to show this tool what's up (yeah right haha). My brother was driving my car tonight and I was following taking pics. So I flashed him to mess with this guy.

It was really close but they had to let off at about 100 becuase there were cars up ahead. I was surprised how well my car did and I think in an all out race he wouldn't start to pull away until I ran out of gear. He gave thumbs up and respect. Totally cool.

Me: 2900lb, 330whp, top speed 150

Him:weight?, power?, top speed???

It said turbo on the back so it's a 911 T is this right? This car should smash on me right away?

I raced a 911 that was the model before that one. My car stayed up with it pretty well until the clutch came apart.:cry: .

don't think you could hang with a turbo if you had them mods i mean they are 450 stock the older ones.

well, it happened. I was surprised believe me. 1jz with 16psi and a tune shouldn't do that. but then again my car is under 3000lb. It's gutted beyond belief. I know it's at 2900 because I weighed it. I'm sure my short final drive was helping too.

Are those things 450whp or 450chp? how much does one weigh with 2 people in it? I'm trying to make sense of this whole thing too.Like I said I didnt really win. Im sure he would pull away after about 120 or so.

the brand new turbo porsches have 480hp, 505ft/lbs of tourque, weigh in at around 3500 pounds and top out at 193mph, they also have 19" wheels from the factory and unlike the previous generation the vent in front of and above the back wheels is split, did you happen to notice this detail?

No I didn't notice. I just figured since it had a paper tag from the dealer that it was new. I dunno how my car hung with something so awesome? Maybe he was fucking with us?

I walked away from a 911 pretty easy, it wasn't a turbo one though.
