so i put my wheels back on after getting tires on them and went for a drive and right by my house i saw a deer cross the road soo i slammed on the brakes and it hit the side of the front driver qp and ran away. i was thinking like a block of wood and prying it against the tire. any thoughts? it didnt crease the metal so it should pop out fairly easy.

serious you think it will chip. it looks like it will just pop right back. but im no body man. i have a heat gun so would i just need to heat it up a little then pop it out? kinda like when rolling fenders.

Don't use a heat gun...just the opposite. Get some dry ice and apply to the center of the dent. Be careful, you don't want to freeze your fingers ;)
It looks like a small crease at the top of the dent...it might not work because of that.

Plunger and a bucket of water.

Insert plunger into water, press plunger in center of dent, then pull up. Repeat a couple time's.

Some time this works on larg dents and some times it dosent. Just have to try it.

LOL at your coment "it ran away". It takes a Mack truck to kill the bastards.

Find a guy around town that is good at PDR (paintless dent removal). If you ask around at some dealers they might be able to recommend someone. But I personally think it is to big of a dent for that. It needs to be worked by a professional if you want it to look good. They will probably just replace the fender. Anytime you get a dent that is along a bodyline it is very hard and time consuming to get out hence the replacement. Body shops are very tight on time. I was talking to a body shop owner of 30 years and dry ice came up. He told me he once hired a guy who said he could pull out small dents using dry ice and he wanted to see it. He said the guy was out there all day with dry ice trying to get a dent to pop out and never was successful. In theory it sounds good, and you never know it might work for you!

The dent could be popped out, but it will not be perfect. A body shop will probably charge 1.5 to 2 hours of labor just to pull the dent, use body filler, sand it down, and prep it for paint. Most likely, they'll paint the entire fender. They'll also try to bill you for removing the front bumper, though it can be painted with the bumper just dropped down a bit. Your best be would be to remove the fender liner (if it touches the painted surface), and lower the bumper cover a bit yourself. The body shop will probably remove the liner to work out the dent from the inside. Depending on how that works, they may also use a nail gun. Good luck.

Yep, and I've seen them remove some crazy dents...

+1 on that, always wanted to learn that,I'm rather good at auto body repair, just not paintless.
If anything just take the fenderwell plastic out for them to get at it easier.

They'll do it for you last I knew :D

Look up some videos on youtube of "paintless dent repair," it's very impressive.

I got a local guy that does it on the side for next to nothing,he has always asked that I pull stuff to gain access for him though(time=$ so saving him time saves me $.) ;)

Yah if you ever see little rubber plugs that don’t look OEM in the door jam it was probably a PDR man who drilled a small hole so he could get his pick in there.
