ok my 2j 240sx i fried a cap in the computer. so i rebuilt the computer now it runs just like crap. i have an safc on it and it lights up and acts normal but idont now if its working crrectly.i changed the turn and put +20 across the board on high and low map. it runs better but still like crap. any ideas?plz?:1zhelp::1zhelp::1zhelp:
and mods on the motor is pretty a fuel system 720cc and a to4zr dual bb and afront mount

So before the rebuild it was running fine? Or did you just swap it in.
If it was working fine, then one cap blows and you rebuild it by replacing caps, then i would say that you might have made a mistake with your caps. Maybe you used ones with the wrong settings. mil Amps or something, or mili farads. I would definitely suggest checking your computer and seeing what you might have mixed up. You might have soldered something that shouldn't have been.

So before the rebuild it was running fine? Or did you just swap it in.
If it was working fine, then one cap blows and you rebuild it by replacing caps, then i would say that you might have made a mistake with your caps. Maybe you used ones with the wrong settings. mil Amps or something, or mili farads. I would definitely suggest checking your computer and seeing what you might have mixed up. i didnt rebuild it i had a verry repubatle shoparound here do it. but it runs like crap on an automatic ecu also?

get something better than an safc. i keep seeing on these boards people swapping to a 2jz and they go straight to larger injectors and wonder why it runs like crap when they are using the safc to tune it with. a very good thing to do is run it first with the stock injectors and turbos if possible, or just start and drive around dont boost much on your single, im sure it will run a lot better and eliminate many weak points you could possibly have, such as timing issues etc. doublecheck your coils, my engines were perfect but anothers i worked on were cracked bad w/ chunks missing

try swapping it into a mk3 chassis with a new ecu, and then swap it back when you know its right
