not to be an ass or anything, but suprahooked did.... just FYI.

What part of STFU aren't you getting?

Your posts add NOTHING of any value to the tech section.

You then try and pass your ignorance off on "I was kidding around" ENOUGH.

It's ok to "kidd around" after the OP has a solution to a question asked but all you do is clutter the section with garbage such as you passive aggressive bullshit post above.

I won't tell you again one more BS post and you'll be taking a holiday from SM.

IJ, Should I just disconnect the drain from the block, start the car and catch the oil in a bucket? Or pull the feed line off of the turbo and catch the oil that way?

At this point I want to test all I can that could be the cause.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt: Yes run the drain into a bucket and run the motor for 1 (one) minute at idle and then measure how much is in the bucket.

It might come out like whipped brown cream don't freak that's sort of normal, you may want to add 1 Qt before you do this test.

There has to be a reason why it's eating Turbo's and it's usually too much/not enough Oil, they're quite a simple device with little to go wrong.

Will do! What should the correct amount of oil be?
BTW, thanks for trying to keep the post clean!

Matt: It really depends on Turbo type and which bearings it has.

I suspect starvation as you're reporting abnormal amounts of wear in a short time.

This could be something as simple as an incorrectly assembled hose fitting, what did you change when you went back to the CT?

I didn't change anything. I use the same braided lines for both the stocker and the upgraded CT. Lines could very well be the issue.
Thanks,

Nothing wrong with having a spare.

I hope I would be somewhere in the upper 400's to low 500's.

I will be running! Good luck and let me know if you need anything.

Matt, i still say you can try out my 57 trim to see if you like it :evil2:

Plus i wanna see how well it runs before i bolt it on mine, haha

I appreciate the offer but I am a little gun shy about bolting on another turbo! Especially if it's not mine and not under warranty!
