Man, I am so sorry to hear about this. He was so young and had his whole life in front of him. I had a nephew that died the same way a few years ago and it was a shock to the whole family. Looking back, I wished that I had been there for him more often and maybe I could have helped him through the hard times. I will be praying for Gage, his family and friends.

I posted on SF but this truely is sad. I lost my ex wife on 12/6/03 by suicide and she left behind an 8 yr old. The hardest part about it is wondering why? and what could we have done to help? and the many other questions that will never be answered. Counseling does help. I remeber his sig the most about him as I always got a laugh out of it and how much fun and what a character he must have been to have in the lives he touched most. My thoughts and prayers go out to him, friends and family.

I couldn't imagine what made him get to the point of wanting to commit suicide, but all I can say is that I hope he's in a better place, and that he will be missed. Rest in peace, Gage.

Damn, umm what can I say that hasn't already been said. My heart goes out to his family and friends that were close to him. Like, Riegn said, it's hard to type anything, it's just such a tragic way to die, and way too young. RIP Gage, and Godspeed finishing the car in his memory.

Sad news. A good friend of mine has depression and its a tough thing to deal with. Of course my condolences to the family. Anyone out there dealing with depression, get help, talk it out with friends/family, you'd be suprised how much people care. I dont think many that have commented in this thread even knew Gage, but look at the amount of responses. Just shows a piece of the good in humanity.

R.I.P. Gage
It truely is a hard thing to deal with.
My family has a long line of depression on my mom's side and I just so happened to catch it in my genes. My grandpa shot himself when he was 45 and I never got to meet the man. My mom has struggled with bipolar as well for a long period of her life, and we had me diagnosed with it when I was 5 years old (weird how they can tell so young, but it was very apparent). I haven't had a bad episode in a very long time and I'm grateful for it, I've got great friends in my life, a great girlfriend and a loving family.

I hope you all take this oppruntunity to talk to your friends, your family, your loved ones and make sure they are all okay. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to ask how you are, and they'll open up, that's how I am for the most part.

This is why I love the supra community, in the darkest of times, we reach out to each other.

Wow....I dont even know what to say.

I didn't know lowbudget personally, but I was in a thread with him like last week, and had no idea this was going on. It's a wierd feeling.

I feel the same as Reign, I'm just staring at my computer screen in shock.
Things like this really hit hard, I.....whew, I'm blown away.
You can be in the best mood, and reading something like this just instantly throws you off.

Makes you count your blessings.

Yes, again it is a sad day for all here who either knew him directly or indirectly through the forums (like me). My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I agree with Reign that there shouldn't be any rude or otherwise opinionistic views posted in this tragic circumstance. I hope that we all could learn from this young man's decision and know that there are always other options available to us whether we realize it or not.

May Gage's memory live on in SM and all of us in one way or another.

Another sad day in the Supra community - Too many sad days. I offer my condolences as well. I lost my best friend about a year ago. It was too early for him too. Finish his car, If you need help you know where to ask. I have never seen a comunity of people come together to help members like this one does. I'm happy to be a part of it.
