Sad news. A good friend of mine has depression and its a tough thing to deal with. Of course my condolences to the family. Anyone out there dealing with depression, get help, talk it out with friends/family, you'd be suprised how much people care. I dont think many that have commented in this thread even knew Gage, but look at the amount of responses. Just shows a piece of the good in humanity.
R.I.P. Gage
It truely is a hard thing to deal with.
My family has a long line of depression on my mom's side and I just so happened to catch it in my genes. My grandpa shot himself when he was 45 and I never got to meet the man. My mom has struggled with bipolar as well for a long period of her life, and we had me diagnosed with it when I was 5 years old (weird how they can tell so young, but it was very apparent). I haven't had a bad episode in a very long time and I'm grateful for it, I've got great friends in my life, a great girlfriend and a loving family.
I hope you all take this oppruntunity to talk to your friends, your family, your loved ones and make sure they are all okay. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to ask how you are, and they'll open up, that's how I am for the most part.
