This MKII is nice. It was the type I really thought about getting before I "settled" (haha) on my MKIII, and this looks like a damn fine car for $1500.

It's not a question of not wanting to buy it.... it's a question of how long will I get to live to enjoy it before my wife kills me and dismembers my body for buying another sports car. She's already jealous of my baby MKIII, despite the love and affection I shower on her (my wife, of course!!).

Ohh well, Supracentral had the right idea. If there was oil burning in a cylinder, probably a few other issues somewhere in the motor...

Hope she finds a good home... (listen to me, I'm starting to sound like these cars are frickin' PETS.... :3d_frown: )

If it truly is RUST FREE (which I doubt) it's basically worth $1500 even if the engine was blown, since rust free shells are hard as fuck to come by, especially on east coast.

It's not difficult to swap a 5 speed in there, or rebuild the engine. I've done both. Turned my 5MGE failbox mk2 into a 6MGE 5 speed easily
