please identify this little thing

the motor i bought didn't come with an ignitor, so i bought one from driftmotion. all i need now is this little gray thing attached to the top right side of the ignitor. i don't know what it is or what it does.

hopefully one of you do, and maybe have a part number or an alternative part that can replace it.

iirc the 7m has one you can use.. its just a noise filter..

really, you know what exactly off a 7M i can use?


is it a HUGE deal if i run without it. or will i not have that good of a signal going to the coils?

I've ran one without it . Car runs . But I'd say to get one if you can as it keeps signals clean.

Its by the ignitor/coil. Its a little box on a metal bracket w/ a hole in it with 2 wires comming off to a connector (looks like the same connector)

It's not a big deal if you don't have it,but it has a reason to be there
so it can filterize parasitic interference signals...kinda of electronic stuff!
