help my idel is jumping from 1k to 2k i just started the car and it started im not tuching anything what happend? i need to get home and dont want ot drive it this way. is there something i can do to fix it now?

Is it building up and then dropping, building up etc.?
You might pull your EFI fuse and wait a minute or two (I think it's actually 30 seconds) to reset your ecu. It should reset all the learned settings.
I've had this symptom before, just can't remember exactly what I did to fix it.

Check for codes first (look for a 51) then drive it home without worry. Afterwards you can use one of your other 5 Supras or yank parts off it to fix this one. (Jeez, I'll probably get spanked for that now...)

Link T and E1 in the diag. box next to the fuse box and then turn the key to the on position and watch the check engine light flash at you. I'll get the codes up in a min.

ROFL! With the assistance of a certain MKIII I've learned many lessons very quickly! :biglaugh:
EDIT: Don't sweat it Rick, with 6 of them you'll be a pro in no time! There should be very little waiting between lessons! I've heard that if you own more than one the cars start competing like little children with illnesses. One gets a BHG the next one has to out do him and develops rod knock.
Other than an electrical issue, it could be an air leak. The engine would be getting more air than it senses / lets in and then it sees the engine idling up too high and compensates. Just a thought.
fixed it thanks to everyone that helped. To person that didnt have anything nice to say.you were new once to and didnt know sh*t, ow that you do know alot about things you should be happy to share it and not belittle them for what thay know or dont know.

You gotta be kidding. I can absolutely assure you there was never a time in my life when I owned 6 of anything and didn't know a lot more about them than the level we're talking about. I'm willing to bet the same would be true of almost anyone. Putting aside for a moment the fact you have 6 of these cars coupled with the almost pathetic excuse used to claim ignorance about them why do you think I'm here? Do you think I responded to your problem just so I could hassle you? Give me at least a little credit.
