please help me...dont kno what to do anymore

Ok, every summer time i cant enjoy my car as much as Id love to. I drive my car for 40 minutes or more then park my car and set the turbo timer for 4 minutes ok? i come back after 10 minutes or more sometimes to start my car and it wont start then i wait for about 1 1/2 hour so it gets cooled off and thats when da car wants to start. The mecahnic said it could be the starter...i bought a new one, then he installed a switch direct to the starter but the problem still there.... i dont kno wut to do...sometimes i even want to sell it because of this....:icon_mad:
Also everytime this happens i pop the hood and take out the main relay. I let it cool off for the same time that is above and da car starts. complicated huh??

Have you checked to see if any codes have been stored? Do you know how to do that?

Is the problem that the engine cranks but doesn't start, or it doesn't crank at all?

Well there can be many issues that can cause this 1) Water temp sensor or wires on passenger side of engine or VSV vacuum switching valve almost impossible to see mounted behind alternator at intake manifold Check to see that your vacuum hoses are connected properly. I had a number of vacuum hoses that were not connected. Also I think a vapor lock can cause this Start with the easy ie vacuum hoses, then water temp sensor the VSV

Water temp sensor is right in front of power steering reservior Mine is green wire clip. I am not sure if you can get the clip off without loosening the steering reservior When cold resistant across terminals should be about 2000 ohm Hot it should be about 300 ohm So check it then drive for awhile then check it hot. Unfortunately, this is relatively complex to debug. Mine never gave any codes but had hard starting when hot. By checking vacuum hoses and replacing that sensor and the VSV the problem was eventually resolved.

Sorry about my short memory Another way to debug is when you have the problem, pull the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator. Silver device on fuel rail to right of oil fill port with vac hose on top. If I remember correctly when it is at atmosphere it increases fuel pressure . IF that corrects the problem then it is either water temp sensor not signaling VSV for fuel pressure up. At least this may get you close
