Hey all i scored a 87 supra turbo a few months ago and spun a rod bearing almost instantly:nono: i opted to just get a 100% complete engine from got-jdm.com since it would cost around the same to rebuild it, i pulled the old engine an tranny and got everything dropped back in and everythings plugged in and i cant get it to start for the life of me:: angry ::
I checked the spark at the coilpacks and at the sparkplugs and it jumps the gap in both spots, all my gauges work and i loosened up a bolt on the fuel rail and its for sure getting gas, when i crank it the starter and engine turn and the engine sounds like it wants to start but then after about 3 or 4 cranks it'll puff out a lil bit of white smoke from around the intake manifold??? i had a coolant line that was cut that leaked a lil coolant on top the block but i replaced it and it doesnt leak anymore, someone told me its probably my timing? i wanna start boostin again this thing is a blast to drive! any help would be greatly appreciated!
