Please somone help me, here is the problem the day i bought my car i noticed after driving it for long periods of time it will smoke during shutting down ( turbo timer) i never really thought to much of it cause i here ct12's are a little smokey also it was minamal smoke, now yesterday i got my cat removed and now it is smoking non stop, after a few min of warming up it smokes and smokes and smokes, its a whiteish Gray smoke, doesent burn any oil or go threw any anti freeze and never has over heated. the exhaust smells like gas but how could gas cause whiteish gray smoke, the previous owner installed a hks fcon vpro ecu and tuned it for the car when it was bone stock, since then it got blitz intake, 2jz crank pully, 3" turbo back exhaust and a 255 walbro fuel pump. the car is still sitting at stock boost and i was wondering if this fuel pump could be causing me all of this smoke since its dumping to much fuel in?

thanks for all the help guys. Also i checked my oil for anti freeze and nothing, but it does have a sent of gas to it.

Do an acidity test on the coolant (a pH test actually) to find out if exhaust gases are getting into the cooling system... could always be the start of HG problems.

Excess fuel can create whitish smoke at low loads as it spreads in the open air much more rapidly. Do you have a wideband? If so check your AFR when it starts misbehaving.

I doubt it's the pump, but how's the pressure regulated? Stock FPR or aftermarket?

I do not have a wideband, also its just a stock fpr on the car right now, now tonight i went for a little rip down the highway, car spools great sounds great and everything, but i got out and looked at the exhaust and now its a blueish white, and i know blue means oil but the car got an oil change a little over 3000k ago, and it is still on the full line, so im puzzled on this one. turbos crapping out, the car does have 160xxx...

If there is oil it could be oil that's accumulated in the IC or in the intake manifold from a small leak from the turbo, excessive PCV gases and oil vapor (possibly due to worn or bad rings), or worn valve stem seals.

You might as well do a compression test too and try to knock the big nasties off the list.

Does the car idle smoothly when it's smoking like that?

NOYFB!
I am having the same problem! No smoke out on the road under boost. Deceleration brings a sizeable cloud of bluish-white smoke. Idling after normal driving, brings constant smoke for a few minutes, then it thins out. I have noticed a small miss as of late too, when idling down on the timer.
Turbo seals gone? Or, could this be worse, or just some small pcv issue?

The car idle's perfect, runs amazing and doesent leak or burn anything, i have no clue really what to do. Usally the smoke is white/gray last night it was gray/blue.

I'm no expert on turbos... I've seen enough similar threads where the culprit turned out to a bad seal in the turbo though.

Check the couple things I've listed, clean out the IC and intake piping and check it frequently there after. If it's oil you'll have a better chance of finding the source if everything's clean.

Try doing a search of the forum for "smoke decel", you'll find some of the posts I've read with similar problems in the results.

Think i found the problem, took off the ic piping tonight and there is fair bit of oil in it, weird thing is the car has been on the full oil line for 3000 k and the turbos still boost good with no noises, newb question what is the waterfall noise?
