Piston Protrusion?

I got my engine back together....and I'm wondering what the maximum limit is, for piston protusion past the deck. I'm already pissed off at Napa for doing such a bang up job with my block....and having to find another machine shop to fix there mistakes. I'd hate to find out they shaved too much off. So if anybody can tell me, I'd be graciously thankful.

Nevermind, I found it using the search. 020'' is the max.

thats why they make thicker head gaskets... you compensate for the shaving.

the previous machine shop shaved waaaayyyy too much off..my engine is now special and kind of a test subject for me and my machine shop. quality is excellent. now after i get a few more parts i will see how well it runs.

cometic will make you a custom gasket up 2 3mm 0r 120thou thick. Got one if you need it
