Thanks for all the responses. As far as street legal, you are allowed a scoop as long as it isn't higher than the windshield wipers or dash as far as line of sight. As far as the ricers go, I still have stickers on the side so I can blend in as well as the baseball cap I can turn sideways on my head for emergencies.

So is that big outer ring part of the turbo or is that a part of the hood.

i think what you are talking about is part of the turbo. it is an anti-surge housing and look different than standard turbos.

is this what you mean?

Yeah, but never fear on the lonely part as I bought a 95 240SX to put in there and I'm sure it will stay stock like my Supra. :biglaugh:

Here is a start on the hood mods to clear my GT42 on my 88 turbo. We are now in the finish stage and prep for primer.Let me know what you think.
