It's Not Important Bro
It was my first big meet and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Building memories with old buddies, making new friends with common interests and most of all, quality time with my 13 yr old son. He loves the car scene as much as I do and this is just one more thing he and I can do together. It was "good times" in its purest form.

Hats off to www.speedforsale.com for sponsoring the event. Jeremy, Jarred and all the guys do an excelent job. It is soooo obvious they are in the business for all the right reasons. This years meet was 50% larger than last year. In times like these, that type of success speaks for it's self, nuff said there. The track was also awesome too, so kudos to the dudes at the track too.

Jay, keep crankin on that boost issue and your car was awesome as always. They guy with the silver MKIII 2JZ swap is from Gadsden. His name is Chuck and I have his contact number if you need to chat with him. I also have Eric Hux info if you want to chat with him about your boost woes.

I'm so glad my buddies Ryan (03BAMAGT - Pony) and Mike (Sub STI) drove up to the meet with me. It was a great 1/4 mile cage match and very entertaining for everyone in the stands. Both are very cool cars!!!!
Ole Mike is here at work this morning with me and his chest all poked out. His low ET was a 12.92 @ 106 mph and dusted a late model cammed out Pontiac goat. It was one of the best races of the day in my opinion.

Vonna, anytime you want to swap cars for the weekend, just let me know. Your White MKIII is white hot girl.

Keylan, your car has come such a long way and caught my eye from the secont it pulled up. Very cool color!!! Cant wait to see what you do next.

Good meeting Keith (black MKII - Awesome and got some good tips on the 7MGTE platform so thanks)

Mario, Wes, Scott - So good to meet you all.

ForcedTorque (forgot your name - sorry) very good chatting with you too sir. Hope your car is up and runing now.

I have some pictures I will post up later. My little cheap camera will not do the gorgeous cars justice. I hope the meet next year is bigger and better. I know my calendar is marked.

Forcedtorque = Scott. I hate my car was not there to better identify me with. Maybe next year will be a lot different for me in that respect. I will be coming back.

A cage match...haha...more like bringing a knife with no blade to a gunfight haha...needed tires and maybe a few extra HP...seriously though, it was great meeting people and seeing some that I know again.

Be careful making offers like that. I may take you up on it. Your car is absolutely beautiful.

Bring in on Mrs. MKIII Vixen - I have no idea what it would be like to drive a fast MKIII. I could do burnouts all weekend. Not to mention white or black is what I was looking for when I acquired my red car anyway. What the hell would Jay do if a red car was parked in the driveway, now you got to ask yourself that question. Would he be able to sleep?????

Aint scared!!!!!

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see what the reaction would be. He did have my faded red(and a few others) at the house this weekend.

BTW.......if he doesn't fix those dame fire alarms, he's gonna have trouble sleeping with a blue car outside:naughty:

I forgot about those Scott. We're used to them and we dont' even hear them. They are wired into the electrical and they beep because the batteries are dead, but when you replace the batteries in them, they set the alarm off. It's kind of a pain in the ass........so we just tune them out.

Patrick, so far the only red car I've allowed in my car has been George's and only because it's got a 2jz in it........:evil2:

You have to replace the batteries, AND put the fire out Jay. You and Vonda seem to have the fire of a newlywed couple, so the beep may never go away. It was only bad when trying to fall asleep.

Here is a video of a new z06 that wanted some of the GTR's to race him. They, however didn't want to race him.

Did any of the GTR's run? I'm curious what kind of time they ran..
