hmm i like that... what is that your using instead of the AFM? and how does it work compared to the afm,, as far as like fuel cut and all that goes?

also where is your tube from the ISC going to? usualy it goes into the turbo intake right?

U-bends from JC Whitney ~$18 each and a good pal around to help cut and weld them together. Some hi-temp brake caliper paint and here you have it.

I just bought bends from there, and with a friend on the forum (boostedstr8six) cut them to the size and angles that we wanted. Welded, then sanded off the welds to a smooth finish. From there i just painted them and welded the little 1'' tube end for the Bosch 110 bypass. Bought some 4ply couplers to go w/ the color scheme from suprasport and that was it. Takes some welding skill and a perfectionist attitude to get that clean look but definitely a DIY job.

I hate the look of blue couplers in engine bays and mismatched color schemes Like polished this and faded rusted that w/ mismatched colored vacuum lines. so I went with this so only a knowledgeable eye could catch it. Those that dont really know supra's would not tell the difference from stock which was my goal. I didnt want the silicon couplers/vacuum lines/ hoses, afm delete, injectors, turbo, or anything else to be an eyesore and instead just blend them in.

Not a real good picture but here are my pipes from the GReddy kit as the engine was going together. Please excuse the phone camera.

Nice job....wheres your bov?

Edit: GM 3 bar?

bov is under my headlight, i tried to make it as clean as possible, the gm maf had to go before the bov so it didn't leave me to much room

I know, lots of couplers but it holds 11lbs of boost so...
Better than factory and done on a budget.
I thinks welded pipes are fugly anyways, even the best welds.

Just so I'm not misunderstood here, I'm not saying that someone has an ugly ic set-up...
Just that I think welds are ugly. Hell if anyone has a fugly set-up it me. There's a lot I need to do yet but the budget says I cant, yet...

Hey americanjebus,

Nice setup. I've been looking for something just like that. The black IC piping is really nice. Great job!
