The NA doesnt work with some of our piping set ups, and isnt the best looking. Does that weapon R have a screen inside?

This one is $85 from HPF. Does it have a screen?

Anyone have any other suggestions on aftermarket ones?

Here's an old pic of when I was 1st putting things together. Using a PS reservoir from a Lincoln Towncar. Located next to the fuse/junction box.

What the FUCK dose that have to do with a relocated Power Steering Reservoir???????????????????? noob.

To answer your question before this thread now gets locked, yes it "can" rub, and yes it will make your supra a car-b-que. You just need to use common sense when running your new fuel line.

It can directly short out your car, and no braided stainless steel line dose not have a built in fuse. <------Figured it would be your next question :p

Ummm... Adampecush had commented on Dumbo's picture of his relocation, saying he shouldn't use a stainless line right next to the alternator.
THAT'S what it had to do with this thread- So it really wasn't such a "noob" queastion, since someone else had already brought it up.

:nono:

Now that you've made yourself out to be a complete idiot...

What would have caused it to rub against anything, aside from vibrations? (and 92nsx should NOT answer this question...)

Metal against plastic or metal against rubber = rubbing through the plastic or rubber = metal against a pos cable = grounded hot wire = melted unless hopefully it pops a fuse in time which it might not.

It can be avoided tho.

Hate to see another car burn from the FPR line wearing through the 12V alternator wire.

On second thought, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, install it like they show and PLEASE have it touch the 12V + post on your alternator. So you car burns the fuck down, and your left with a pile of burning cow shit.

EDIT: The 100A fuse hvyman is talking will not save you car from melting down when that line comes in contact with the 12V post. The fuse is well AFTER that. All it will do in short is, "turn off the battery" when that fuse pops. As long as the Alt is spinning it will create 13.6-14VDC.
