Heres my first car, a 1984 S-10 Blazer with a 2.8l V6 and a 5-speed. My Dad bought it in 1986 and drove it for nearly 14 years. It was used for a shop truck at one of my dad's shop for a couple of years before I got my license. My mom completely redid the whole interior in it. After I got it, we had it repainted and I put the 18's on it and lowered it. I drove it for a couple of years. It had nearly 280,000 miles on it when we sold it. We sold it for 3400 dollars. I put the money toward my Supra.

Car #2 is the 1995 Subaru Legacy Outback in my sig. Salvage title... Car (truck) #3 is a 1995 Nissan pickup. Current combined mileage of all three vehicles is a bit over 400k.

1984 subaru Gl awd, drove it for 1 month with my permit, passed my driving exam with a 98/100 and then my dad blew the auto tranny on the bridge 1 week later, i never drove it again after that, sold it with 76k miles and now i see it every day with some lady who bought a new tranny for it.

HAHA My Supra is my first car of my own, I got it when I was 17 and a junior. I started driving sharing my dads 96 chevy blazer 4.6 Vortek V6 with 4x4 and cd player .

My Supra is a 1990 one owner turbo model with sport package, targa, and white out package.

I love the way that you americans are lucky enough to have such great first cars compared to the crap we have to roll in here in the UK - Here you can't have anything more than a 1.6 without paying $3000+ a year on insurance :3d_frown:

I wanted full covg on my Supe, but it was OVER 5000 USD!!! Just liability covg (What I have now) is over 2 grand...

Consider yourself lucky, the best I've been quote is in the £4000 area (Roughly 9ish grand american) on a MK3 Supra on fire and theft (they'll only pay if the car gets burnt out, stolen they'll fix the other person's car if I hit them) - It's the same with any other decent cars out there.
