Its a 1987 NA but the steal is it only had 62 thousand miles upon purchase and the paint is still good. I tracked it down on craigslist while actually looking for a 240sx haha. I also saw before this one a turbo supra same color but man was the condition horrible, the interior is near perfect also so I honestly like it for a NA lol. The guy kept the Supra garaged the whole time he had it so the paint is still really nice and a wash and a wax later I got it looking like it does now. I might do the exhaust, headers (if I can I can see its pretty tricky) the air intake (thinking Apexi), the drive shaft (it pops when i turn to much lol) and am going to see what I do to lighten it up. I also have a alpine CD/ipod deck and custom fitted 6.5 inch memphis speakers all around so the inside is pretty cool too. I got in a car accident a couple months ago and got hit in the rear but I got it fixed. Anyways....lets get on to my pics!

congrats! Your drivshaft shouldnt have anything to do with you turning, my bets are that the steering stops are worn/missing, so whenever you go to full lock and go over a bump it creaks and pops like crazy.

yup, he has the headlight washers..

that also means he must have TEMS, and an LSD...


I normally hate that color because it's never in good condition; yours is an exception..!

welcome to SM, NA's are fun as hell, they're slow, and stock Turbos are less slow, but by no means fast, so if you're just out to have fun, an NA is perfect...

So it might be the wheel stops? like the popping is never when I go over bumps but whenever I have to turn the wheel all the way like if Im doing a close u-turn or something. Yeah I wasn't so hot on the color before but now I love it! do you guys think a black 3 piece turbo spoiler would look good on it or should I just keep it spoilerless? I try to find pictures of my supra with a black spoiler but never have any luck lol. I will try to get pics of my interior soon but the only thing about the interior is that I guess the guy who owned it has a problem with the shift nob so he took off the top part of it so its a brown shift nob boot but the nob is black lol and yeah I know NA's aren't all that quick but hey, still beat my friends Mazda3 lol

theyre fun and make a nice sound when you get an exhaust, if youre staying NA dont go bigger thean 2.5inch

Lol when my supra was NA i raced my friends mazda3 he had CAI and catback, 0-100, he started pulling on me after 70mph -_-

all 3 of my Supras make that metallic popping noise..gotta fix that..:icon_mad:


The only spoiler for the MKIII should be the 89+ 3 piece wing, no exceptions (okay, the Kaminari wing is NICE because it's modeled after the stock 89+ turbo wing, except a little longer and it juts out a little more). I like the 88 turbo wing (same as the 87 turbo 1 piece wing, except the brake light is a trapezoid instead of a rectangle), but It's not for me..

make sure you also get the taillight failure sensor off an 89+ turbo (it's white) otherwise your taillight failure light on the dash will turn on. Otherwise drill holes and the 3rd brake light plugs right in no issues what-so-ever..

yeah I want a 89+ 3 pice spoiler, I will take into consideration the part about the tail light failure system! haha well my friends mazda3 I beat from a stop and only went to about 75 so I guess thats why I didn't get to see him speed up on me haha. But yeah I know the NA Supra is no rocket lol but I still find it a fun car to just mess around in.

Here is the interior. In the back you can see the custom enclosures for the 6.5 inch speakers. The towel isn't hiding anything lol but I'v seen how those back seats get in the sun so I just wanted to prevent that lol
