Some advice for "polishing" the wheels...

You aren't actually polishing them, you are just stripping the silver paint off of them to reveal the machined aluminum surface...

1. Use the aerosol can of stripper
2. Only leave it on for two minutes at a time!!(It will probably take 2-3 trys to get it all off).
3. Just flush off with a hose, DON'T scrape it with anything...
4. And you should be done then...although you will probably want to clean the tire thoroughly, because it tends to leave a yellowish residue on them until they are cleaned.

As for care/maintenance...I just spray rim cleaner on them and spray them off with a hose...they scratch easily, so you have to be careful, don't even rub them with a sponge! Then just dry them with a chamois...

Just like everyone else, I like your car alot. One of the first things I would do is get rid of that parachute that is shaped like a speaker box. There's no way that thing sounds good enough to justify all the extra weight. I would remove it today. If you have to have some subs, get a smaller box. Just my two cents worth. Hope to see pictures of the wheels tomorrow morning..........lol

DAMN! They came out great! Even better than the way mine turned out, and you got lucky that you had the metal center caps... Your car is now PERFECT...lol. Wait a minute, it looks just like IHI-RCH7(?)'s car...it won ROTM a month or two ago...

now you just need some kind of lip...you could always go the cove base route...:biglaugh:

Looks great. Is that the original dark blue mica metallic (I freaking love this color), or is it custom? Also, you've made the decision to repaint my mouldings when I repaint my car this spring very easy. Flawless man, flawless.
