As the title states i finally recieved my Tananbe exhaust had to wait for awhile as one had to be shipped in from Japan. I dont have it mounted yet as i am waiting for my new DP but i have to say that the piece looks amazing. If you are looking at this exhaust i wouldn't hesitate. Best of all i recieved it shipped for less then 600. I can't wait to get it mounted and go for a test drive. Hopefully before snow comes in. I am interested to see how much quicker turbo spool is.

I will try to get pics up in the next day or two. Have family staying over so it is a bit busy. However, i have been meaning to upload some pics of the Weapon R CAI i installed a few months back. I should also try to update my build thread as i have done the CAI and have the tanabe exhaust here, Raptro Racing DP w/test pipe, and AMS intercooler all on their way.

By the way i recieved this from Andy's Autosport i bought it during their black friday - cyber monday sales event but had to wait as the CA warehouse was sold out and more had to be shipped from Japan. I must say that i am not a fan of their communication ie. shipping dates, trackign numbers, invoices, etc. However, they do at times have some great deals like the exhaust shipped to NE for less then 600 and i can reach someome whenever i call (after waiting on hold for 5-10mins). Honestly, it is hard to know who to shop with anymore with Zanako (SP?) and SIP no longer being vendors and SS now being 1 after the horror stories i have heard (i hope they have their act together because i like some of their stuff). I must say that i love Driftmotion and have bought from them before but shipping usually kills me.

It's Not Important Bro
I have the touring medallion also, it is very tame. Close to stock noise level. I often wonder what it would sound like with a test pipe "cat delete".
If it wern't the smell, i would have already deleted my cat.

I don't have a sound clip, and I only had the tanabe installed for a couple days (I took it off to fix a mistake I made with my BIC DDP, and never got a chance to put it back on since I was getting a new turbo, and then I spun rod bearings). TBH I was used to the sound of open elbow when I first installed it, so it was slightly whiny to my ears (of course it is also possible mine was "bedded" in yet, I hear that can take up to a month). However, the spool of my turbo + the BIC DDP was simply amazing. I eventually blew an IC coupler LOL. I am in the midst of a rebuild, so I look forward to finally getting mine mounted as well.

have you noticed a difference in the angle of the exhaust tip in relation to the canister? if you were to look from straight above

It is hard to say it kinda looks like there is a very tiny downward slant to the exhaust tip but i cant say for sure as my level is somewhere else atm.
