well this past weekend i installed pioneer AVIS-D2 nav head unit in my 89T.

Here is a small wright i did on the rev. light and speed sensor need to tap into too install a
nav unit into a 89+supra. I searched and found nothing on who to install. Mayby a ADMIN can sticky this for other's, as i need help??????????????????????
(also have the white LED conversion done)

Reverse light is #1 on the m1 plug, Red with black strip.

i was thinking of getting one but wouldnt touching the screen be awkward with the shifter in first 3rd nd 5th gear . thats why im thinking of getting a motorized one

I think it will be a little, but with SOGI mod. done to shifter i hope it will be fine.:sarcasm: In all reality you dont touch the screen much. Eveything can also be controlled from the side of the head unit or screen. When entering a new address for the Nav. that is all touch screen. So it is best to do it with shifter in 2 or 4th gear.

In my last supra I had a flip out and it worked fine, it was just a pain to control the heater,A/C. Also I wanted something that looked more OEM this time around.

yea thats why i like the non-motorized ones for a clean oem look. but i wouldnt do the SOGI mod if i go short shifter im going true short shifter with a shorter throw not just shorter stick
