gotta be careful with the two tone, id go with a red plus a darker red, like a deep burgundy or blood red on the bottom, separated by the gray trim. i just think the gray on the bottom would be too much.

Clip, that looks way sexier than the grey bottom. I think the blue on blue looks nice. Not great, but nice. Red is dead sexy as one solid color with grey trim. Your car is awesome just the way it is Louky. Paint it two tone if you want too, but you're gonna regret it................lol

I can't take it. Please don't paint your car two tone. I'm begging you not to do it. For the love of God, step away from the spray gun....................:biglaugh:

im with him on this one. 3e5 super red II is just meant for the supra. but if you want to go for a two tone, id get a red fade of some kind.

That burgundy bottom isn't bad at all, and the hood ridge looks really good.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet if it makes you feel any better suprahero. :icon_bigg

I really want to do something just a little different but complimentary to the MKIII. Red is just so generic, and I've already gotten a pretty standard set of wheels. I've seen a couple of people do some interesting things: MKIIsupraman18 nailed it with the other than factory green on his gorgeous MKII. Even though I've seen comments both ways, Lamarossa took a chance with his and there seems to be a bunch of people who like it, and I'm not thinking of going anywhere that far with mine.

So are there any other ideas that could be tastefully done on a budget to set my car apart just a little from the others?

You could paint a naked portrait of Jessica Alba across your hood. She seems to be everywhere else these days, may as well be on your car.................lol

I will think your car looks great no matter what you do Louky. It's almost impossible to make a MKIII look bad to me. As long as you like it, the rest of us shouldn't matter. Hope you come up with something completely awesome and blow us away.............lol

Thanks Fuzz. I'm moving along, but I just can't get her done fast enough.

As for what's in store, this is where I think I'm heading:

*Next couple of weeks: KS rewire attempt #2
*Next couple of months: Clean highbeam contacts so they work, Bosch BPV, boost leak test.
*Next 6-9 months: New Paint
*6-12 months after paint: SAVE $$$$$$, and then 5 speed swap or SupraStickIV
*Other Miscellaneous stuff to be done here an there if time/money magically appear: Power antenna, pretty colored vacuum lines, foglight mod, clear cam gear cover, new IC and IC hardpiping - list to be prioritized in part with help from people like Steve, Jon and Dave when I cross paths with any of them. And I love a bargain, so if anybody has a deal on any of this stuff, speak up!

WILL IT NEVER END???!!!

Nice list of to-do's.If i were you when i do the ks rewire again i would do the foglight mod, you can knock two birds with one stone. As Far as ic and piping you can can always go the ebay route, and im willing to bet steve can let you know where and how to get ic pipes done.Keep up the good work

Ps. It never ends Unless your n/a ;)
