Ya i dont know i just signed up like a month ago, after entering email name password and that kind of fun stuff, it said "enter cell phone # so the confirmation # can be text to you." i did that and they sent the # and my photobucket was ready to go. But at the same time i got these 81000 prize text msg. I never replyed to any of them but when i got my phone bill there it was $9.99. I called verizon and the refunded the Charge, and blocked these ""pirze enter thinks that cost 10 bucks.""

Who knows maybe it was a pop up window that i some how didnt see?

ive had my photobucket for a good 4 years IIRC ive had 2 diffrent accounts at one point they never asked me for a phone number and never asked me to pay anything.

i had a file upload limit for like the first year but its gone now i prolly got 700 pics on 1 photobucket

Exactly what I was thinking. I've been using PB since I got my Supra, a good 5 years ago now, and have never had any problems. Also it's seems to me to be the easiest to use photo hosting site out there.
