Photo Shoot of my new(er) Saab 9-3

I couldn't stand sitting in the hotel any longer so I went for a drive, found a park, and snapped some photos of the Saab 9-3 I bought a couple weeks ago. I'm no pro photographer, but I did my best. The pics were taken in High Point, NC. Comments welcome.

I really like how the center console is arranged...The ignition tumbler next to the e-brake (signature Saab) has always fascinated me.

^^^^ The dash electronics and heated seats sold me on this car right away. The coolest thing I've noticed is the "Night Panel" button. Press it and everything except the speedo goes black at night. And "if" you're going under 90mph the speedo goes black from 90-160 as well....stealth mode. I'll have to snap a couple pics once it gets a little darker out.

Edit: Here ya go...digicam doesn't do well at night.

No, it's FWD. 175 HP IIRC. The little turbo spools quick and the car handles nicely. The drive from MI to MD then to NC was a blast!

My dad has a '95 9000 Turbo. That's what I learned to drive on more or less. Saab has some pretty surprising motors. 2.3L I4, stock is like 200hp, and 240ft/lb. One of the few cars I've seen with an electronic boost controller integrated into the ECU. They have a wastegate spring set at like 7psi, and the computer adjusts it to 15.

His hits 20psi at like 2500rpm. (Just intake and exhaust, and wastegate mods). Of course, it's running out of steam before 5k.
