Philly Area Supra Meet #3!!! May 25th, 2008

well I just recieved some bad news about the ol supra..... I need to do a build thread to explain the whole story but I havent had time to sit down write the thread, find all the old pics, get latest pics etc., etc.,. this will come.

Until then, my car is at a toyota dealership in south fl being put back together, they had everything done and then.....found that the head gasket is leaking externally..... they are tearing it down to see what the deal is, the block and head were decked, arp studs were supplied with a MHG, and they torqued it 12lbs over toyota standards... strange...

Anyway, I think I still have time to get it up here but time is slipping by. I'd feel dumb to show up in the G35 to a supra meet, I but dont want to miss it either...we'll see.

When will directions be posted?

They need to torque the head down to the arp specs not there own specs...make sure they know that.

So do you plan on driveing the supra all the way from Florida to here...ive done that trip so many times LOL...takes forever to get threw Georgia!

Yea....if i were you and showed up in a G35 to a supra meet i'd feel like a complete moron. And not like one who just said something stupid again, were talking like full blown, im gonna turn up the boost on the ct26 to 30PSI with a kinked oil return line on a stock, 180000mile HG with low oil and drift with it to see what happens kinda moron :sarcasm::biglaugh:

If your going to be in perkasie during that time then you have no reason to not come....there are plenty of people here who would pick your ass up I'm sure! If you want to come then come...I'm in hatfield alot and that's only a stones throw away.....you have a ride....that's a guarantee!
