Due to recent thefts/attempts in my neighborhood, I had to resort to buying an alarm (I wanted an alarm anyways, but didn't plan on getting one anytime soon). I purchased the Viper 350HV, which is security/keyless entry. I didn't wanna go high end with remote start and auto trunk pop, etc. What kind of alarms are you guys using? And post pics of the "setup" I guess you could say, and remotes, installation locations, etc.

Python 871, too be upgraded to the Python 990 as soon as I get another one in stock.

Brain is behind the gauge cluster, and the remote will have a 1 mile range...

Addons include glass break sensor, auto window modual, prox.

Good choice on the Viper, I would never install anything on my car other than a DEI or possibly compustar if DEI wasn't avaliable.

Chriso, there's the warning... I know it was suppose to be funny, but a few things man...

1: it was NWS...
2: it was NASTY and NWS...
3: it got complaints...
4: it was just plain nasty as hell, and NOT WORK SAFE...

So yeah, next time tell your gf to put a bra on before you snap her pic... HEHEHEHHEHEEEEE! I keed I keed!!! *thanks for the nightmares tonight!* :D:D:D

I love the Clifford RSX 2-Way Paging Alarm I have on my truck.
I will probably get the same system for the Supra as well. It has paging, turbo timer, auto start (for autos) and many other features. Only drawback is that it eats up batteries because its constantly "talking" with the alarm system for status.

auto start works for 5-spd too... but you better make sure you leave the car in neutral , and the e-brake up really tight just in case you forget ;)

Python 990... Installed myself, (without remote start enabled). Allowed me to really tuck/hide things. Has modules/accessories available for almost anything... auto-windows up/down, tilt sensor, motion sensor, etc. And, the remote beeps to let U know when/if something's been triggered.

I have the basic Viper systems, I forget the model number, but it has remote locks, and it wails like any standard alarm should, with bypassed stock alarms. I have physical kill switches in completely different locations on each of the 3 Supras, so that's all I really need..

I'd rather them take shit than to take the entire car (again)...

RazoE, you probably have the 350HV like me.. I'm thinking of going to a higher model though just for the remote start, turbo timer, and range. otherwise, it's a pretty good unit IMO..
