It's a Karma thing what goes around comes around!

yuh. karma is real fa sho

it's called pay it forward, don't pay it back.

If someone helps you, you then go out of your way when you can to help 3 other people. Then they do the same. and so on.

then we all live happily ever after :D

Joe...thats a movie, we all know that hollywood stuff only happens in SoCal. :icon_razz

I personally don't believe in "Karma" but I do believe in the Golden Rule; "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Poor Z. I always offer help but most people refuse it. When my spark plug decided to pop out of my car on that road it seemed like a majority of the people who asked if I needed help were people in trucks.. Yeah.

Glad your okay will.

Karma FTW

I always have nightmares about being in a car and not being able to slow/stop it.
I did too but when my brakes went out it just seemed like no big deal and just used gears and then the e-brake. Luckily I wasn't on a mountain pass or something though that would have been a whole different story. The thing that got me though is that it was a $12 dollar fix and only took about 15 minutes. I just glad it wasn't my lines or master cylinder.

I have a tow strap in the back of my Legacy all winter. I have yet to get someone out of a snowbank, but I learned it from my dad. We used to go out in snowstorms in the old Dodge RamCharger we had with our yellow beacon and save people from snowbanks. It's a good time.

glad to see you're alright, will.

on a side note: i always stop and help people if they need it. whether it be changing tires or whatever. i came across an elderly gentleman who had run out of gas. i was about 6 miles from my house, so i went home, grabbed a gas can that i had just filled for my dad (for the lawnmower) and brought it to the guy. i poured all 5 gallons in his mercedes benz, and wished him luck.

he offered me $100. my reply: sir, i know gas is expensive, but that's WAY too much. take care!

and i left. :)

I have had situations when people will stop to help and other times when no one will stop to see if I survived, but I try to help when at all possible. A few months ago everyday for an entire week I would get in my car for work there was somebody with a dead battery and needed a jump!! I am glad I always carry jumper cables because no one else every seems to have any. Whats more funny is about a little while before that something told me should put a new battery in my car just in case!! Moral of the story is to be nice to people!!
