Ok so i comming home from work after it rained for like 10 hours and it jsut stopped, im going around this corner in second gear, not thinking anything of it, and all of a sudden i start losing traction.

I am readily willing to admit i am an inexperianced driver. Im only 16

So i start spinning around and next thing i know im going about 30 mph backwards screeching my tires towards a tree. I just looked up to the sky and prayed for me to stop.

I stopped about a half foot from a tree. It was pure mudd and i could NOT get out at all. Just pure spinning. After about five minutes of me thinking and jsut being angry at my self, i just sat in my car. Then i see a nissan fronteir pull up. Its a some-what younger guy (25-30) and he asks me if i need any help, before i respond he gets a rope.

He went OUT of his way, got his brand new truck filthy and his clothes filthy jsut to help me. I was extremly grateful and tried to give him money but he jsut refused.

After that insedint, i realised that some peopel can be so nice. Just to know he went out of his way to help me, knowing that i was completly helpless.

I think god had a little play in me stopping half a foot before a tree.

Yep, people amaze me sometimes. I have been pulled out a few times in similiar situations(Not in my supra though). I've also helped a lot of people that were broke down or stuck. Like the guy that helped you, he got more in return than you think. I feel better about myself when I help someone in need.

I have been on both sides of that situation quite a few times in my 42 years. My first one that always sticks with me was when I was just 18 and headed to Santa Barbara on my motorcycle. Somewhere between Sacramento and the 6th gate of Hell I noticed an elderly couple standing looking confused and helpless under the hood of their car. I turned around on the shoulder and drove back. Long story short their car overheated and I walked to a nearby house, communicated with hand signals to the nice old mexican man that I needed water, and brought it back to the couple. then followed them up the road to the nearest station. They tried to pay me but I refused and wished them luck.

Ive had occasion to have that act repaid a number of times, and continue to offer my help whenever possible. I can always use more good Kharma!

Hehe yep we can use the good Kharma. I've also been stuck in overheating situations where nobody stops. I hate that crap but luckily both times that happened I found myself near a river and with several trips(with 20 oz. bottle) was able to refill the radiator each time. LOL It was the same river near by each time too. Good 'ol Licking River.

I've also been in the posistion where I've gone out of my way to help someone out and not even gotten a thanks......

some people are just fucktards that way and again what goes around comes around will sort em eventually..

A good life rule I learnt early on is to treat people how you'd like to be treated and it's amazing how often it pays off!

I once went partly into a ditch off a gravel road in my Supra. I found a nearby person who helped me out with his tractor. He was really nice about it and said something along the lines of, "Oh yeah, happens all the time. Once we even had to haul an RV out of the ditch. Had to get the 'big tractor' for that one."

Non-asshats FTW!

Yesterday some womans tire blew out at the stoplight where I was gassing up. I changed her tire for her.

My karmic repayment will be someone crashing into my car.

I carry a 14' tow rope in my truck for just such emergencies. I just bought a new one two days ago since my old one had seen too much use. You'd be surprised how many times you're given the chance to help someone in a twenty four hour period. It's up to you, how many of those chances you take..................lol

Glad you and your car are o.k.
