Parts Washer

Hey, anybody know where in north central MA, (Gardner, Fitchburg, Leominster, etc), I could get my hands on a parts washer. Like a friendly shop, who might let me clean my stuff? Need to really clean out the engine, and I can't do it here with solvents, because it might seep into my water supply.

Damn near any machine shop be it motor builders or industrial have solvent tanks...or hot tanks...some have ultrasonic tanks but that's very rare.

Harbor freight for $44

I have used the $100 one several times and works pretty good. If you want cheap solvent you local coop has it on the pump

agreed machine shops usualy ahve hot tanks and what not and od it very cheap. my local one cleans a abre block for $55 flat not too bad. or you coudl go the media blasting way i suppose ive scene people do that but i havent done it yet. and i ahve access to it for free haha! but like he said gas is a very good solvent to strip things down. liek if you ever get oversrpay on tial lights ro anythign gas usualy takes it off very easily. than jsut get a polisher and buf them out. but what are ou all trying to have cleaned?

Head, block, and every other piece that has grease on it.

Worst case scenario big bucket and clean all the parts in it, then dispose of it properly.
