Pull out carpet and remove the insulation from the back of it. Take a ton of dry ice to the black tar shit covering the whole floor(thats prolly 50-100lbs right there.) Remove back seats/spare.Replace front seats with carbon fiber buckets.(or just dont put a passenger seat in) If you dont use heat or air remove the heater core and all the AC lines and the blower stuff in the cabin. Lightweight compact battery. Fuel cell. Lexan rear and 1/4 windows. Carbon fiber targa and hatch. Make custom aluminum subframes for the front and back.

Something i would like to do to maybe decrease chassis flex is remove all the glue from the seams and get the whole body seam welded, that also might loose a few pounds.
So yea thats about it. :icon_bigg

My car is hovering just above 3000lbs its a hardtop turbo so it started out at around 3550lbs and I didn't spend any money on lighter parts. It is possible to do you just have to sacrifice some creature comforts. I'm trying to get it under 3000lbs with a cage. Its definitely possible when you actually start thinking of stuff to take out.
