dude, get tmobile 1000 for 50 bucks, never ever get a pre paid celly, theres all ways a catch. if you don't use the minutes in a 30 day period they fuck you over. so let me guess you must have verizone or sprint or nextel. to be honest you don't need a celly just dumb it. Open a bank account under your name go to wa-mu....fuck world savings. Don't get any credit cards or any depart mean type of credit, no matter what....trust me. i was in economics for 7 years, i know how people screw people . Good luck

Ive had pre paid cells for the past few years, never really had an issue. Had Boost Mobile for awhile because hubby had a Nextel through his job. Wasn't all that bad except making actual phone calls was expensive. But just used the walkie talkie mostly. Have had a Verizon INpulse phone for the past 6 months and its ok. Much better than opening a $600 cell bill.

I definitely agree, prepaid is the way to go...

Over here, i can pay $79 a month and get $500 worth of call, text, mms and online time and downloads...

:werd: My girlfriend and I used to eat out a lot, and it really added up. One day I decided that I would rather just make her dinner instead. She finds the candlelight dinners every week very romantic, it's like a ritual with us now. Every monday, we take a nice walk to the local safeway, and pick out stuff for dinner, then we go home, and make it together. It's amazing the things you can come up with, much better then "burger and fries" endlessly from the local restraunts. It costs me <$20cad every week for our dinners, sometimes she even offers to pay, so it's even less over time :) Beats the $40+ we were paying for food at the restraunt we were tired of eating over and over. Plus it's healthier, and we get to spend more time together.

If you have a date, trust me, make her some fucking dinner. Girls love a guy who can cook. Even more if he can cook well :)

Shit, it's monday, I gotta go pick up my girlfriend.

Edit: About money, my parent's COMPLETELY stopped bugging me about money the second I showed them a little responsability, and told them that I would pay for my university education myself.

I have a boost mobile, bought a 10$ start kit off eBay, It's been 2 months now and I still have 7$ left, 10cents a min =\. I don't even need the phone but it only stays in my supra shut off and I only use it for emergencies.

My parents don't usually ask me for money becuase they know i don't make much but if they did, I just lend it. At my age, I really don't need that much money. I always want to buy things for my supra but before buying I just think "hmm, do I really need this...", applies to pretty much everything i buy. So basically my supra stays bone stock:icon_bigg
