When you give her the money for the phone give her the phone too... Get it out of your hands, go get a pre-pay phone or one with a better deal. If you mostly talk nights and weekends then how the hell did your bill hit 300.00??? Nights and weekends are free from almost every cell company? You will show you mom and everyone that you are ready by either doing without one or getting a pre-pay that you pay for.

OH.. and hows the job search? I like the idea of a delivery job, Remember pizza is not the only place that needs drivers. Friend of myne got a job being a driver for NAPA, he brought all the parts to diffrent auto shops that placed orders. Plus you can get discounts on parts!

Look where you are right now.. on a computer. Get some friends with computers and talk to them through IM or something. Set up "dates" ahead of time so you don't need to know where they are at - you will know where they will be at the time you specified to meet, though.
Talking on the phone that often is a problem. You really should look into that. I've had an account with Cingular for over a year now, with a 700 minute per month plan. Right now I have over 4,500 rollover minutes that have racked up in the last 12 months. Mind you, these are SHARED minutes between me and my wife.
I don't understand how you can talk on the phone that often. If it's because of a girl, you need to get another one. All of that jabbering is cute now, but after you know everything about her, it's going to get old, and expensive, very quickly.

I started working when I was 12 years old, yeah it was a paper route, but it got me what I wanted. Brand new TV, VCR, phone. At 12 years old I was paying my own bills. At 16 years old I was working at Taco Bell in Florida, making shitty money, and didn't have any bills. Mom started charging me $120 a month to stay under her roof and I still had to wash her damn dishes when 99% of the time I didn't eat there.

I didn't like her rules, so I moved the fuck out. Ran away 1500 miles to Massachusetts to get away from her bullshit. Got another job there and continued paying my small bills and going on with my life without her.

Don't sit at home whining about it, you are definitely old enough to do something about your life.

While we were on the phone bill topic my buddies gf racked up an $862.43 cell phone bill in one month under Telus. I shit you not. Her excuse was she forgot her internet and text messaging was not free anymore like it was the first 3 months. I saw this bill in person.

no i never parid for her, only on like 1 date we went out on. damn its such a long story with her. fuck. i got rid of her now, so its all good. oh and i told her i paid 150 for the 300 dollar bill already and she said "hmm, i dont have that much money but ill see how much i can put in"
