Keep away from Maiko. I understand that not everyone of the average eye can truly see what's under the paint of what Maiko does...but it is not good. From a distance, sure, it will look good, but don't expect it to last long.
Maiko is the biggest joke ever. If I were you, I would just try to gather information on a popular individual in your area that is well known and have a reputation for doing good paint jobs.

If you are a cheapskate and you do take it to maaco for some reason, do all the prep work yourself, yeah its a shitty paint job but, its still better then no paint job... but don't expect it to last a year, and if you have winter thats the worst...

Well thanks Brent & SupraofDoom for backing that up...
LOL*I couldn't remember exactly how Maaco was spelled...I was really tired.*

Anyways, Brent spoke the words of truth. 95% of the way the paint looks is in the preparation and proper procedures, etc etc.
I've been painting and doing body work for quite sometime now...and I cannot stress enough why you must stay away from Maaco!

Did you know that there IS ACTUALLY a plan through Maaco that you can get where they do more than just mask it up and spray it?:)

My paint job was a garage job, and I honestly think it's awesome. Zoon did a really good job, and I didn't have to pay anything. There's a pic in my sig if you wanna see.

I'd like to see an up close picture of your car. (Just out of curiosity).
There is nothing too badly wrong with a garage painted job...As long as you have the paint curtains around the walls. If not, There are such small particles that aren't even visible to the eye that float around...and get trapped under your paint and you don't realize it until it's been laid down...Little things like that scare me. You won't catch my car getting painted anywhere but a paintbooth.
