@ everyone that diy painted
did you use a flex agent on the bumper covers?
if so would you use a flex agent on all layers of a three stage job. or would it haze the clear? I have had problems with bumpers flaking in the past.
I'm a bit confused on this i was looking at house of kolor line of product but they don't offer flex additive.
My family paints high end cabinetry for a living and I know I can do a nice job on this project I just need some ones experience to answer questions.
has any one used house of kolor? what about SW/Martin-Senour auto line any experience with these brands?
I'm trying to stay with urethane I have read that Urethane doesn't run or sag as readily as the enamel, dries faster, and doesn't attract insects as much as enamel. Enamel is cheaper, less toxic while spraying, and can be kept in the spray cup longer.
