:) Thanks guys! Yes, as johnathan1 said, all you need to do is mask off the tires really well.. As for the paint.. I cleaned and degreased them, then used automotive primer, sanded that down to get a nice surface to adhere to, then used Dupli-Color Rim Paint (Graphite Metallic).. suprisingly it turned out to be very close to my car's colour (slightly darker)....

they look great with the silver lugnuts peeking through, but id go back and redo the 'toyota' in black.

that's exactly what I was thinking... I'm going to try and paint the centre caps.. but how can I go about masking off the little letters?

I've got no advice for you but it looks pretty damn good... I've been toying with the idea of painting my sawblades glossy black for the longest time.

hmm, glossy black kind of makes them look like steel wheels... but i guess if done right and fits the look of the car it could look good... :)
