Yea, it's a nice wrap job too. But I learned this the hard way back in my big block Chevy days in the 80's... You wrap mild steel, and it turns to dust in no time.

Get the OBX header. The whole thing is stainless, including the flange, which is just as thick as the stock manifold flange. They won't rust, but they do turn a nice blueish purple color, fading to gold further down. I only wrapped the front three tubes on mine to keep the heat off of the distributor.

I never was much for pacesetter's products. Everything I ever bought from them was mild steel on my previous cars. I don't think they believe in SS or something. When I got my supra it came with a pacesetter exhaust (unistalled) it would have been a restriction anyways since it's only 2.5" and I'm turbo, I've still got it laying around somewheres...

You'll either want to have it ceramic coated, or buy something SS...

Aren't the obx's the one eeryone is always complaining about haveint to modify to get them to fit right???

I'm pretty sure both Pacesetter and OBX need modifications to fit right.

Hey all!
If it is right what you all say...then i build my own header in a special type stainless steel!
But since there is no water or other wet things that hits tha manifold i dont think it will become a problem with rust and so on!
The time will show us all whom was rigt and whom wrong :)

I am just learning by doing :)
have a nice day

I coated my Cooleeze DP w/1500* ceramic paint, wrapped it up real good, then used a 1500* made for header wrap. The small spot around the o2 sensor that didn't get wrapped has had the paint bubble off, but the coating on the header wrap is sill on. I'm planning on having it ceramic coated, along with the exhaust manifold and turbo once it's rebuild time ;).
